Description

This unisex perfume is based on natural kuromoji essential oil, sourced from Chichibu, Saitama.

The fragrance opens with a fresh, clean sensation, followed by a soft, embracing warmth, allowing the kuromoji’s delicate, woody-citrus note to shine.

The 8ml spray bottle is compact, stylish, and practical—allowing customers to keep the scent close at hand in daily life. Each bottle delivers approximately 250 sprays, with 2–3 sprays per use recommended.

This is an eau de toilette, with a lasting power of approximately 2 to 8 hours depending on environment and skin chemistry.

The outer box is designed to resemble a letter envelope, a nod to the brand name “BLACK LETTERS.”

About Kuromoji

Kuromoji is a deciduous shrub of the laurel family (Lauraceae), long used in Japan for its aromatic bark—particularly in crafting high-end toothpicks for wagashi (traditional sweets).

The kuromoji from Chichibu, Saitama is known for its uniquely bright, citrusy aroma, and contains high amounts of the same components found in lavender.

It is extremely precious—only 1ml of essential oil can be extracted from 1kg of dried wood and leaves.

Usage Notes

• Store away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.

• Due to the high concentration of natural oils, discoloration or sediment may occur. Use as soon as possible after opening.

• Avoid spraying on skin that will be exposed to sunlight, as this may cause irritation or staining.

• Do not spray on the face or near the eyes.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid spraying directly on delicate fabrics (silk, rayon, leather, fur, traditional garments, etc.). Test on an inconspicuous area first.

• Maintain a distance of at least 20cm when applying to clothing or skin.

• Highly flammable.
