This unisex eau de toilette is built around the natural scent of Kuromoji, a rare and aromatic shrub native to Japan.

The fragrance opens with bright green tea and citrus notes, evolving into a refreshing, forest-like aroma that is both invigorating and soothing.

To keep the experience accessible and practical, BLACK LETTERS has chosen an 8ml spray bottle, offering approximately 250 sprays—perfect for daily use or travel.

Recommended usage is 2–3 sprays per application.

About Kuromoji

Kuromoji is a deciduous shrub in the laurel family (Lauraceae) known for its aromatic bark, traditionally used in high-end toothpicks for Japanese sweets (wagashi).

The kuromoji sourced from Chichibu, Saitama, is particularly prized for its citrus-forward character and high content of components also found in lavender.

It is an exceptionally rare essential oil—only 1ml can be extracted from 1kg of dried wood and leaves.

Usage Precautions 

• Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

• Avoid direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place.

• Natural ingredients may cause slight discoloration or sediment—use promptly after opening.

• Avoid spraying directly on skin exposed to sunlight, as this may cause irritation or staining.

• Do not spray on the face or near the eyes.

• Keep out of reach of infants and children.

• Test on an inconspicuous area before spraying on delicate clothing (e.g. silk, rayon, leather, fur, traditional garments).

• Keep at least 20cm distance when spraying on skin or clothing.
