Product Description

KUON's classic item, a "noragi" (traditional Japanese workwear) reconstructed with a Western pattern.

This season, the length has been extended from the traditional noragi, updating it to a coat-like appearance.

It uses patchwork denim created from leftover fabric and stock fabric. This material was born from a project that KUON's Japanese fabric manufacturer supplier has been working on for over 10 years to create new employment opportunities in rural India.

By effectively utilizing fabric that would otherwise be discarded, it considers environmental impact and contributes to the continuous creation of local employment.

Furthermore, skilled craftsmen in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, known as a denim producing region, meticulously hand-paint each item. The combination of patchwork fabric transitions and paint creates a unique look for each garment, which is also a charm.

While retaining the powerful presence of the noragi, the long length gives it a distinctive balance as an outerwear piece.

Available in one size with a longer sleeve length. If it's too long, you can wear it with the sleeves folded up.
