Product Description
The inro is said to have been introduced from China during the Muromachi period.
Originally, it was a tool for storing valuables such as hanko (seals), but during the Edo period, it evolved uniquely in Japan, being carried as a medicine case.
This product is a leather case that reinterprets that traditional structure in a modern way.
It opens and closes by moving the natural stone placed on the upper part of the main body's flap up and down.
The mechanism itself is designed to be aesthetically pleasing, and decoration and function are integrated.
The leather used is imported from a prestigious German tannery established in 1864.
With a semi-aniline finish, it boasts vivid colors and an elegant sheen, while also offering durability against scratches and water.
This product quietly coexists with traditional design and urban material feel.
Daily care only requires brushing and dry wiping.
